A chronograph, which can be found on San Martin Panda BB watches, adds a stopwatch function to a wristwatch and is clearly recognizable by the two pushers (buttons) on the watch case's side.

How to Make the Most of Your Chronograph
The basics
START: Press the "Pusher A" button to start your chronograph.
STOP: If you push "Pusher A" a second time while the chronograph is running, it will stop.
RESET: Press "Pusher B" to reset the chronograph while it is stopped.
NOTE: If you push "Pusher B" while the chronograph is running, the hands will stop moving but the chronograph will keep running. This feature is known as "accumulated time," and you can learn more about it further down.

Timing that has been accumulated (Automatic Movements)
Automatic chronographs, like the San Martin Panda BB, do not offer the same cumulative timekeeping capabilities as our quartz chronographs. When the chronograph feature is active, the automatic movement does not have the option to halt by pushing pusher B. This might have a negative impact on your mobility!
To utilize cumulative timekeeping on your automatic watch, press pusher A once to start the chronograph and again to stop it (e.g. chronograph reading 15 minutes and 5 seconds). To start and stop timekeeping, press pusher A once again (e.g. 5 minutes and 50 seconds). The total time spent is 20 minutes and 55 seconds.
